After the TMZ Sports video of Ray Rice knocking out his then fiancee Janay Palmer surfaced this morning, the Baltimore Ravens have terminated Rice’s contract and the NFL has suspended him indefinitely. Ray Rice was serving a 2 game suspension for his actions at an Atlantic City casino where, at that point, only video of Rice dragging Janay Palmer out of the elevator existed.

The 2 game suspension came under heavy criticism and resulted in NFL Commissioner Roger Goodel changing the suspension policy related to domestic violence.
