TYT’s Eric Byler reports as protesters in Charlotte, North Carolina marched through downtown streets in a second night of demonstrations as the nation awaits bodycam footage of the death of Keith Lamont Scott at the hands of police. Shortly after the tear gas canisters were fired, protesters were seen smashing windows and committing other acts of vandalism.

Scott, 43 and a father of seven, was shot and killed Tuesday near the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Students there held a silent “die-in” protest prior to the downtown protest. Our report coming soon. Police claim that Scott was carrying a gun when he was shot while witnesses say he had no gun, but had been reading a book while waiting for his son’s school bus to arrive.
