LOS ANGELES – April 19, 2017 – TYT Network (www.TYTNetwork.com), the largest millennial-focused online news and politics network, announced this morning The Humanist Report with Mike Figueredo, a fast-growing YouTube channel and podcast focused on engaging millennials in political discussion, has joined as a network partner. The Humanist Report also announced the show crossed the 100,000 subscriber milestone.

As a network partner, The Humanist Report will work with TYT Network on combining marketing initiatives and editorial and promotional opportunities. Launched in June 2015, The Humanist Report seeks to simplify political news and supplement stories with through-provoking commentary and fierce advocacy around the most pressing political issues like corruption, healthcare and education. Figueredo is an activist and political scientist. He has previously worked with the Human Rights Campaign to defeat “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and with Wolf-PAC to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United decision. He has earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science and is currently studying for his Ph.D. in public policy. Figueredo was previously a political science research assistant in U.S. and North African politics.
