Ryan Grim is the Washington bureau chief for The Huffington Post and writes about politics, corruption and the war on drugs. His work has appeared in The Nation, Slate, Salon, Rolling Stone and a number of other publications. A former staff reporter with Politico.com, Washington City Paper and a former contributor to MSNBC, he is the author of the book This Is Your Country on Drugs. He has won a variety of awards, including the Sidney Hillman Award (2011), PPFA’s Maggie Award (2011), Medical Cannabis Journalist of the Year (2013), CJR’s Best Business Writing (2012), and the Alt-Weekly Award for long-form writing (2007).
